The central mission of the
EcoCovenant Academy and
Sustainable Environmental Projects in India is to save
humanity and the environment from impending climate
catastrophes and destruction. We, humans, have failed to be
wise stewards of God’s creation. The growing environmental crisis in India and elsewhere calls us — congregations, faith communities, urban neighborhoods, NGOs in India, and worldwide — to address the crisis as our missional calling.
We are not an organization, nor are we an institution. Instead, we
are a network of grassroots movements made up of local,
regional, national and international friends committed to a sustainable environment and the flourishing of human
communities..
